During R&D stage, machining, assembly, test and cost all been considered in order can reach “Effort halved and results double” . We have our own machining dept., double column machining center, plano grinding machine , vertical machining center… to get better accuracy on our key parts , to machining by ourselves could effectively ensure the key technique, machining accuracy and lead time , those parts after inspection to make sure dimensions,tolerance and geometry accuracy then move to assembly dept.

For the big parts , as machine base, table, cross beam… after seasoning ,Internal stress relief…procedure to ensure parts reliability and stabilize , especially those big parts contact surface all been scrap by our 20-year technical engineer . Those procedure with best design on full support high rigidity structure, and after heat treatment square guide to give the high accuracy and rigidity machine body .


Kao Ming strictly request every personnel to follow Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to ensure every detail and step are finished accordingly, and ensure the quality of every machine was consistent. Electric distribution is also requested to follow SOP, to modulize wiring distribution to reach CE standard. Also Kao Ming use higher safety and environmental care materials in order to ensure the reliability and safety during operation.


Spindle system is one of the most important components in machine tools. Our in house constant temperature spindle room provide all Kaoming machines’ spindle , all of those spindles specialized design with floating tool unclamp cylinder ,coolant through spindle system, gear transmission…etc. which have patent right approved , and the related techniques on high rpm and heavy cutting could reach to max. 8,000rpm. Besides, thermal control and noise test by doing spindle run-test and dynamic balance, to strictly control spindle accuracy and thermal expansion and deformation.

Furthermore, precise components that we purchased like controller, bearings, linear scales…etc. must to be world-famous brand, to reach reliable quality, as Kao Ming’s insistence.


Kao Ming suggested the solutions corresponding to thermal deformation: thermal symmetry structure design and thermal compensation system, which could keep high quality accuracy after a long time operation. After assembly process comes to inspection, Kao Ming’s inspection method includes laser positioning accuracy inspection, ball bar circular accuracy inspection and so on. The standard Kao Ming takes is much higher than international standard like JIS and ISO regulation.

“Self quality control to give best products . To create market demand get satisfied customers” is always our highest principle. Kao Ming had passed ISO9001 Standard and also CE, TÜV Certificate. However, we are not satisfied but have more and higher insistence to our products than others, and request higher standard to every producing steps. After all, our goal is to manufacture the machine with highest quality and accuracy!
